What you’ll do.
At The Light Group USA, we help homeowners across America cut their energy bills, get more comfortable, and protect the biggest investment they own. As a Home Improvement Installer, you're the person who makes that real. You're not pushing paper or chasing leads. You show up, you do the work right, and you leave a home better than you found it. We back you with the materials, the training, and the 25-year warranty that tells customers we stand behind every job. If you take pride in clean, precise work and want a trade that pays well and keeps growing, this is your seat. We're hiring in your area right now.
Window installation
Remove old units and install energy-efficient replacement and new-construction windows to spec — square, sealed, and weather-tight, with clean trim and finish work the customer sees every day.
Insulation install
Install batt, blown-in, and spray-applied insulation in attics, walls, and crawl spaces. Hit coverage and R-value targets so homes stay warmer in winter and cooler through hot summers everywhere.
Weatherization & air sealing
Seal gaps, cracks, and leaks with caulk, foam, and weatherstripping. Cut drafts and lower energy bills by stopping air loss at every point in the building envelope.
Finish & detail work
Handle the trim, caulking, patching, and cleanup that turn a good install into a great one. The last 10% is what customers remember, and it's where you earn the 25-year warranty.
Quality & code compliance
Follow manufacturer specs, building codes, and our quality checklist on every job. Catch problems before they're hidden behind a wall, and document the work so it passes inspection the first time.
Jobsite safety & cleanup
Work safely on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces. Protect the customer's home and belongings, manage your tools and materials, and leave the site cleaner than you found it.
Homeowner experience
Be the professional face of the company in someone's home. Communicate clearly, respect the space, and walk the customer through the finished work so they feel confident in what they paid for.
What your day looks like.
Start the day with a crew briefing — review the job, the materials list, and the customer's expectations before you roll out.
Protect the work area, set up safely, and demo or prep the space for a clean install.
Install windows, insulation, or weatherization to spec, double-checking measurements and seals as you go.
Run your quality checklist, handle the finish details, and document the completed work with photos.
Clean up fully, walk the homeowner through the result, and confirm they're happy before you leave.
Wrap the day, restock the truck, and set yourself up for tomorrow's job.

Room to grow.
Most of our crew leads and field trainers started as installers. As you master windows, insulation, weatherization, and finish work, you take on bigger jobs, train newer installers, and grow into Lead Installer, Crew Lead, and Field Supervisor roles — each with a pay bump to match. We also cross-train installers across our solar, roofing, and HVAC lines, so you can broaden your skill set and your earning power without ever leaving the company. We promote from within first, nationwide. Show us clean work and reliability, and we'll show you a career ladder.
Good to know.
Experience in windows, insulation, weatherization, carpentry, or remodeling is a big plus, but it's not a hard requirement. If you have the right work ethic and an eye for quality, our paid training will get you up to speed on our products and methods.
We pay top industry rates for skilled installation work, with overtime available for crews that want it. Full-time installers also get a real benefits package. Exact pay depends on your experience and skill set — we'll be straight with you about the numbers when we talk.
